The “Aeroport” station of the Moscow Metro
The architect was Vladimir Ershov, a graduate of the Architectural Department of the VKHUTEMAS-VKHUTEIN; artist-engineer Zakhar Bykov was the designer of the benches with pointers and the lace grille decorating the entrance to the platform, a VKHUTEMAS-VKHUTEIN graduate, rector of the Moscow Higher School of Industrial and Applied Arts (formerly the Stroganov School) in 1955-1967.
