Sketch of set design for the production of the play “Anne of Brittany” based on a short novel for children by the French whiter Eugénie Foa, translated and adapted by Vasily Polenov.

The play was first staged at the Polenov House of Theatrical Education in Moscowin the season of 1916-1917.
